Amazon customer review site tops the list of internet review sites. Having names along the reviews helps in avoiding unnecessary reviews. It is a two-end forum as firms are allowed to respond to reviews about their products. It was the company to establish a review site.

The feature was first used in 1995 and to date remains one of the essential resources for users. Most of the consumers look for information related to buying decisions. Consumers are used to reviewing products on Amazon even they bought it elsewhere provided it is sold on Amazon.

With the exception of pharmaceutical and gasoline products, the rest are found on Amazon. The reviews help other interested buyers in making right decisions after making comparison of the reviews available on Amazon.

Good customer reviews and shiny gold stars are the difference to a consumer between what they want to buy and the other one. Amazon consumers can only rate products using a five-star grading scale. Analysis and evaluation follows suit where the ratings are converted into percentages. The website then has most helpful reviews followed by most recent customer reviews.

Second in rank is the Angie’s list The service industry in the US is served by this website well. It is a higher-end site for review. Users are charged a specified fee to access the site. There is a subscription fee for members. However; the services are worth the fee.

Rating is set on an A to F scale. Most of them are well thought out reviews. Raving and ranting reviews available in other free review sites are not found on Angie’s list. Anonymous writings are not posted. Having names along the reviews helps in avoiding unnecessary reviews. The sequence is two-way as companies also have a space to express their thoughts about the reviews that touch on their products and services.

The other best review site is Choice. This is an Australian site. Community members fund these site. Expect independent reviews from Choice as the review website carries out its tests and evaluation on the said products and services. Majorly, testing of services and products is done by the review site. Listing buying guides and developing product comparison are other services offered by the Choice. There is also room for members to offer their ratings.

Trustpilot is another site. Trustpilot continues to grow since it was established. It is a community driven reviewer’s site in Denmark. It has now expanded to 65 other countries outside Europe. The US is one of the countries where consumers enjoy these services. The website also lists buying guides and develops product comparison
